The picture below is of Hong, the Christian owner of a fruit and vege shop.
One day he was talking with his pastor about the web site www.biblein11.com and they came up with the idea to put the web address on all his till receipts.
Now, whenever someone buys something from Hong’s shop, there is a chance they could see the web address and out of interest or curiosity hear the gospel.
Here is a picture of the till receipt. If you own a business, why don’t you follow Hong’s excellent example!
This is …

Today as usual I went out about 5pm to look for someone to ‘love with the gospel.’
I wandered into Burger King and in front of me was an Indian man in his early 50′s sitting alone eating. As I approached him, I got eye contact from a distance, smiled, and walked closer and closer towards him.  When I engaged, I asked him the usual question: ‘Let me ask you a question. What’s possibly the oldest book in the world?’
The Bible, he replied.
Do you know how old it is, I said.
He …

A few days ago, Iain Dickson, the Presbyterian Minister in Te Puke wrote to me to let me know how he was going after attending a DNA change conference.
In short, the Holy Spirit has worked through the conference to radically tip Iain’s life upside down.
Just this morning we spoke on the phone and he says he feels like the New Testament has come alive in a way he has never known before!
He has been going door to door with one of his elders, giving the gospel, and praying for people …

Hi everyone,
This email just came in from Canada. As I have said in previous emails, a pastor from Canada ordered my book, read it, and look what God has done!
“Hello brother,
We had a wonderful service today! Even had a few new people out.
We did the first lesson of the EVANGELISM DVD’s. I paused the DVD where you looked at 14 things that pass for many as evangelism.
Some thought all 14 were evangelism ….but not those that have been in my services the last two weeks where I have been teaching …

Hi everyone,
One day recently, a pastor / missionary in Canada was surfing the net and came across the www.esisite.com web site.
He contacted us and ordered my book and some other resources.  The Holy Spirit really impacted him through the book. This is an answer to prayer.
So much so in fact, we talked on the phone this morning about opening up in Canada. Russell, the pastor/missionary  has connections not only to Bible Schools and Seminaries, but also to networks of Churches.
Not only that, but he is leaving shortly on a missions …

When people in the church talk about the need to evangelise the world, they often quote Paul when he said in Ephesians ‘Be ready to give an answer for your believing.’ (1 Peter 3:15).
Yet, many have misinterpreted this verse to mean ‘just wait until someone asks you about your faith’ or ‘wait until it comes up naturally in a conversation.’
This is not what the verse is saying.  As usual, we must take into account what the rest of scripture says about evangelism.  In the respect, a key verse is Mark …

When we share our testimony it is not about us but about God.  We are declaring what God has done or is doing in or through our lives.  Our testimony should  point to His love for us and be given with the purpose of His receiving all the praise and glory from our grateful hearts.

The Lord uses testimonies.

In my own life I can look back and recall the impact that people’s testimonies had in preparing the soil of my heart to receive the seed of the gospel which God caused …

Hi everyone, today I left my home at 4:30 to go an reach someone with the gospel. It was bitterly cold, the sun going down, and windy. I didn’t feel like doing this.
When I stepped out of my car, I noticed two guys in their 30′s drinking at a bar so approached them.
Hey guys, can I ask you a question?
They say nothing, only stare.
Again I ask ‘what’s the oldest book in the world?’
I felt awkward.
They didn’t know, so I told them.
It’s four thousand years old. We just made a video …

Wow! Today I was in a cafe having a coffee with a friend.
The cafe was not busy, so when the waitress came with our order, I smiled, and thanked her, and then I asked her the usual questions (the photo at right is not Abby. I just clipped this from the internet).
Can I ask you a question?
Sure she said.
What’s possibly the oldest book in the world?
Ummm…the Bible?
Yep. Do you know how old it is?
No, no idea
It’s about 4000 years old.
Wow. I didn’t know that.
(Enthusiastically).  We have just developed a video …

The following testimony is by written by a guy called Greg. The photo is of Greg and his wife. Greg is a member of the Manukau Salvation Army Church. Greg got hold of our DVD series on evangelism, taught himself from scratch, then set out to actually do evangelism. One day, he says, he had a breakthrough! This is what he wrote:
“I was called to fix a burst pipe under a house in Otara (South Auckland,NZ) on a Saturday morning at 8.30. I knocked on the front …

Hi, today I was in the post office posting off some evangelism resources. At the front of the shop there is a large, low, square shaped table, with equally low chairs all around. It is designed for customers to sit and address envelopes and wrap packages. This is a new, modern post office!
Anyway, while I was sitting and writing addresses on packages, three ladies in their late teens came and sat at the table.
Remember in the previous blog, The car, the fish, and the wheelchair, Ian Thomson was used by …

The following is a short and powerful account of evangelism in everyday life.
It came to me today via email from Ian Thomson, one of the elders at Bethlehem Community Church in Tauranga, New Zealand.
I will share with you the lessons I learned from this account at the end.
“The other day I was parked in Spring Street waiting in my car for Fay (my wife) to finish work. As I sat there I noticed in my rear view mirror a young man coming towards me on the road in his …
